You might even feel like you’re the only one struggling and no one gets you.
I do. I get it because I’ve been there. I know firsthand that it can be hard (even painful) to take those first steps, especially under the crushing weight of confusing, often conflicting, information. I know that it can feel completely isolating when your friends, family, and colleagues don’t get your struggle.
But it doesn’t have to be that way. And I know you’re here for a reason—

Deep down you know that there’s no quick fix, miracle pill, or trick that will magically give you the body and life you want overnight, and you won’t find any of that nonsense here either.
What I have to offer you is different.
My proven programs are unique in that I don’t just tell you what to eat and send you on your way. I dig deeper to get to the root of the issue, using principles of functional medicine. Together we determine the nutritional strategies that are best suited for your needs and preferences, and we identify other key lifestyle factors that are wrecking your health, weight, and performance.
When we work together I’ll also help you get underneath the psychology of why you haven’t been able to move forward, how you’re undermining your own self-confidence, and why your relationships continue to get in the way of you creating what you want.
Each client proceeds through a series of personalized steps towards optimal health with my “5S” criteria that is Simple, Segmental, Sequential, Strategic, and Supported to create a body and life they love.
My Story . . .
Almost ten years ago, I was struggling with fatigue, brain fog, intense food cravings, and was sporting a squishy muffin top. My insatiable food cravings for sweet and salty foods (plus a sticky relationship with alcohol) were out of control. My sleep was horrible as I would regularly wake in the night and find it impossible to fall back to sleep. To keep from dozing off during the day I became dependent on chocolate and caffeine. I felt like utter crap.
I asked my primary doctor if she could help my fatigue but all she offered me was Prozac. I was shocked because I wasn’t depressed at all so I declined it. She also ordered some bloodwork and gave me the results but never mentioned anything about my borderline A1C (the measurement of one’s average blood sugar over ~90 days). It was 5.6, just one tenth of a unit away from officially being classified as “PreDiabetic”.
That’s when I woke up, and started to see how everything was connected. My yo-yo-ing blood sugar was tanking out in the middle of the night, robbing me of my precious sleep, causing me extreme fatigue and relentless sugar cravings as a cry for energy. It was an endless cycle that repeated itself every day.
I was completely done with this energy-food-craving-sleepless-fatigue roller coaster ride that I had to make it stop. I learned everything I possibly could about metabolic syndrome, nutrition, and all the factors that can feed into developing type 2 diabetes and made immediate changes.
Within a few weeks I was able to reclaim my health, get my A1C down to 5.1, and release the excess belly fat. I created a new way of taking care of me, just like that, and I’ve never looked back. In fact, because of my success, I knew that I had to use this knowledge to help others too. Just like you.
